Music and dementia, a good combination in caregiving
Music is a good tool to use when caring for seniors with dementia. Music has a calming effect. Turning on music while dressing, showering or eating, for example, will make these activities easier. However, using music is sometimes complicated, because songs from the past have to be looked up and switched on every time. This can be much easier with our special radios and music players. Apart from making care easier, music also brings joy. Bring fun back into living rooms or bedrooms. Music stimulates the brain and has a positive effect on well-being and memory.
